I have an integrative approach to individual wellbeing.  I appreciate and value story, authenticity, kindness, mutual respect, and getting to the heart of things to facilitate authentic personal growth.

My formal training includes western medical psychological science and evidence-based practice, humanistic psychotherapeutic models, traditional eastern energy work within a shiatsu therapy framework, and somatic therapy (mind-body) focusing on emotions and the process of interoception (the  perception of sensations from inside the body).
I am a psychologist with full ahpra registration, currently working with young people.

I can currently offer limited appointment times for psychological intervention online for adults, at my practice here. Areas of special interest to me include women's health psychology, stress and burnout, and the emerging fields of integration and harm minimisation in psychedelic assisted therapies in legal contexts.

During the pandemic I
co-authored a study on conventional and complementary treatment use and satisfaction in Australian women with endometriosis published in the Internal Medicine Journal. Alongside this, I worked for some years in the mental health care sector in the service of humans with complex needs. I facilitate trauma-informed care and practice.

I offered shiatsu therapy body work to hundreds of clients over fourteen years. This therapeutic art form helped transform my own life, my health and relationship to health, mind, systems of energy, and body, and giving this gift to others has been one of the best parts of my life.

I am Chilean born, mestiza, and grew up in Melbourne before landing in the Bellingen Shire. I love nature and the outdoors, yoga, philosophy, music, and writing and am curiously passionate about traditional methods of healing and culture.

In my life I have sought aid and guidance from teachers and holders of traditional knowledge of my own lineages in my native South America, Asia, and here in Australia.  I've been the recipient of tremendous kindness and ceremony and I've learned many wonderful things from plants, land, people and ritual in the regions of my ancestry. I have had exceptional teachers and mentors.
