Valeria is a Chilean born Australian multidisciplinary health professional.
In my life I have sought aid and guidance from teachers and holders of traditional knowledge of my own lineages in my native South America, Asia, and here in Australia. I've been the recipient of tremendous kindness and ceremony and I've learned many wonderful things from plants, land, people and ritual in the regions of my ancestry. I have had exceptional teachers and mentors.
I have been a shiatsu practitioner for 10 years and worked with hundreds of clients. It is a therapeutic art form that helped transform my health, life and relationship to body, mind, energy and emotions; so i give this gift to others. My formal training is a weave of traditional energy work, a shiatsu framework, humanistic psychotherapy and Western psychological science; useful for health paradigms moving towards more integrative approaches to individual wellbeing. Ultimately, my work is tailored to the human being in front of me. I appreciate story, diversity, and what moves people.
These modalities are beneficial for anyone and are offered to all. My areas of special interest include depression, anxiety and stress, medically unexplained symptoms, chronic pain, fatigue, emotional and physical trauma, disability, women’s health, empowerment and spirit.
